Serious Face )=<

So! There's a dust storm outside! But it's clearing up and all. I walked my dog, and not only was I getting all dusty, but there was roadwork on the semi-main street connected to my street, so my dog was scared of beeping trucks and the loudness of the tar rollers or whatever they are.

Just some thoughts I've had lately, fueled by television (since I didn't have a home phone and internet for more than 2 weeks):

I don't think that "plus size" models should take over the modelling industry, as some people suggested slash want. Nor do I think that plus size models should even be encouraged. The fact that plus sizes are the "modern everyday woman" isn't good. THE WORLD GOT FATTER.

It confuses me when the media encourages healthy lifestyles, but turns around and says that it's good to have plus size models. Fair enough it makes the featured models restore their self-esteem and all, but it's not good if they're overweight. These models should remain on the side and not the majority of the modelling industry.

Yes, I understand that many of the "normal" (so to speak) models may be unhealthy in a different way - being underweight, but most of these models are healthier than the plus size models.

I know I don't have much right to speak, I may be Australia's average weight/size, but it's not a healthy weight/size. My point is that plus size models shouldn't become the norm in modelling.

Also, the new judge in Australian Idol from Sony Music annoys me (haven't bothered learning his name). He continues to critisize the contestants of who exactly they're meant to be, how they fit into a specific genre and such. My complaint is that the main point of the show, other than finding a good enough singer for a possible one-hit-wonder, is to show the diversity of each contestant, to see whether they can sing and perform different genres of music, which is why there's a new theme every week.

He annoys me. He looks and acts like he full knows everything. I know that he's there for a reason, but he doesn't have much place being a judge on Australian Idol. He doesn't even have a fun or interesting personality, nor does he have friendly chemistry between the other 2 judges.

I'm not a huge, massive, obssesive fan of Idol who watches every episode. Truth be told, I haven't watched many episodes of this season, and I think I've already stopped watching haha. Maybe because of this new judge. Maybe because of the contestants. Maybe because I'm just not interested anymore. My point being this new judge is super GAY.

Later hopefully a not-so-serious post (=
